Confirm the hardware purchase or rental terms, shipping, any location surcharge and installation extras in your address-specific offer. The public page advertises no upfront hardware cost in selected areas, while its standard critical-information summaries list a purchased-kit charge. These are not interchangeable offers.

We are not quoting an exact upfront total: the published summaries currently contain minimum-total figures that do not reconcile with their listed component charges. Check the actual order and ask Starlink to resolve any discrepancy before paying.

Mounting hardware, a suitable installer if needed, cable routing, indoor network improvements and electricity may add to the cost. Don’t assume a promotional installation includes every site-specific job. Ask what is included, what is excluded and who is responsible for the work.

The standard Australian summaries say billing starts at activation or 30 days after shipment, whichever comes first. They describe a one-month minimum term with no early termination fee and conditions on refunds. A promotional hardware or installation offer may carry different commitments: read the terms actually attached to your order.

A 30-day trial is advertised, but return and refund conditions apply. Keep your existing service until you have a working connection and are comfortable with it.

Sky Muster and Starlink use different satellite systems; compare current plans, responsiveness, setup and the work you need to do. Mobile home internet depends on coverage, capacity and provider eligibility. Good mobile reception can be enough; a strong-looking signal alone does not establish evening performance.

Starlink is designed for these everyday uses, but an individual home’s performance is not guaranteed. Obstructions, congestion, weather, power and your own network can affect it. If a connection is critical to work, consider a separate backup and test the applications you rely on before cancelling the old service.

No single Wi-Fi coverage claim can guarantee every room or outbuilding. A shed or separate building may need a properly designed network extension. Consider the distance, construction, cable route and appropriate equipment rather than buying a faster service tier to solve a coverage problem.

The current public terms list Residential 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps and Max among eligible plans. You must be a new customer buying directly through the referral link, activate and remain subscribed for at least two months. Month one is paid; a qualifying credit applies in month two.
