How to choose
A bank sold as “165W” may share that across several ports. The Mini needs 100W (20V/5A) from one port, and a USB-C to DC cable that carries 100W.
Power stations’ 12V outlets give more than the Mini’s 60W input rating, so a 12V Mini cable is the dependable choice.
Use the Starlink power bank calculator for light or heavy use, a different efficiency, or a power bank that isn’t listed.
How we work it out
Run time = capacity (Wh) × the share that reaches the dish ÷ the dish’s average watts. We assume 85% reaches the dish by USB-C or AC and 90% from a 12V outlet, and use Starlink’s average of 20–40W for the Mini (30W at typical use). Starlink’s figures come from its support articles: power specifications, USB power rating, batteries and power banks. Product figures come from each maker’s official page. These are theoretical estimates, not tests: heat, battery age and how busy the connection is all change real run time.
