Kings says its lithium batteries can be discharged up to 80% of their rating. Seekstead’s fridge calculator allows about half for a lead-acid battery.
Built-in protection
Kings lists a battery management system that protects against over- and under-voltage, over-current, short circuit and temperatures outside its range, and rates it for more than 2,000 cycles.

A second battery, not a starter
Kings says it’s an auxiliary battery, not for under the bonnet, and doesn’t recommend it as a starting battery except to jump-start a car once in an emergency.
Charge it the way Kings says
Kings recommends charging at 14.6V with a 14.2V float, and up to 50A charge current. Charge it fully before first use. Check your charger or DC-DC charger has a lithium setting that matches.
Keep it in range
Kings lists charging between 0 and 50°C and use between −20 and 60°C. In a hot car in summer, keep it out of direct sun.

Copper M8 threaded terminals, with two M8 bolts, two flat washers and two spring washers in the box.

Can I join two together?
Kings allows up to two of the same batch in parallel and up to four in series.
It reads 0V. Is it dead?
Probably asleep: Kings says the battery management system disconnects the cells if it’s run too flat or overcharged. Kings says to wake it by connecting another 12V battery with jumper leads for about 10 seconds, then recharge it before use.
Will it run a Starlink Mini too?
It’s a 12V battery, so a Mini needs a 12V outlet and cable from it, such as a battery box. Seekstead’s Starlink calculator covers power stations and power banks, not bare batteries.
